TRAFFICC aka Nihal Kanwar grew up in New Delhi, where the metropolis' ample traffic jams provided him with extended opportunities to hone a diverse musical taste within the confines of the car doors. Studying classical Indian music and Western vocals, learning to play the keys, being a full blown metal head, starting his own punk rock band in high school, hosting hip-hop cyphers in his dorm room during university in Scotland and attending some legendary underground raves have all informed his open-minded approach to music. His Boxout.fm show Rush Hour is heavily inspired by rave culture, bringing together an eclectic, hectic mix of music.
Thank you for attending Boxout Weekender 2019 and coming out in support of the great radio hosts, DJs and artists who help prop up our community radio movement. We’ll be back even bigger next year, so stay tuned.
